Like, electronic arts. Not \u2018ea\u2019 (romanian feminine pronoun) the woman\u2026 those i am a fan of. \ud83d\ude42<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here\u2019s the story: my friend had a shared \u2018ea\u2019 account, with her ex, to play the sims 4. Expansion packs, all the works. As you may be able to tell from me having said \u2018ex\u2019, she\u2019s not with that idiot anymore. But neither does she have the sims\u2026 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why? Because she\u2019s dumb, but so are the electronic arts people.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, i say that about her with love. About them, with a middle finger up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her account was on a shared email address. Ok\u2026 she had the account details. When they broke up, mr. ex told her to keep the account so she could play. She, out of respect, decided not to change the account details. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Again, why? I don\u2019t know. She\u2019s stupid.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When she tried logging on, the new \u2018ea app\u2019 (since it\u2019s not \u2018origin anymore, because why would it still be \u2018origin\u2019...) sent her a confirmation code on her email. So far, so good\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2026not quite. <\/strong>She tried accessing said email; password was changed, the phone number to change the password wasn\u2019t hers anymore, but of the wonderful mr. ex. So that didn\u2019t work either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Any half-brained person would now think: \u2018just message the fucker for the password code thing\u2019.<\/em> Myeah, we\u2019re all that smart. Mr. ex had blocked (?) her on absolutely everything. Him\u2026 and his mom? I swear some beings are completely beyond me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I tried messaging him myself, as yet another alpha male, since obviously, i\u2019m solving it. How could my friend be upset? No way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m blocked too\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And with this, all of our friends have tried. The ones that had not been blocked before were either completely ignored, or ignored and then blocked. Yay :) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fuck? <\/strong>For a shitty password\u2014actually not even a password, but a code on an email\u2014to which only he had access. You\u2019d think i\u2019d messaged him to donate his liver to guatemala. It would\u2019ve taken 3 minutes<\/strong>, the whole thing, if he hadn\u2019t been such an cocksucker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And yeah, i know what you\u2019re probably thinking: not the case.<\/strong> They broke up amicably, actually he broke up with her since he\u2019d found someone else. So i\u2019m not sure if it\u2019s the current gf\u2019s fault\u2014can\u2019t call her names, never met her\u2014or what the situation is. Either way, it\u2019s incredibly stupid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bear with me.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We said we\u2019d message customer support, since we were sure something could be done to change the email of an account the user no longer has access to, right? Especially if a lot of money had been spent on that account\u2026 right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we spoke to what\u2019s-their-face from customer support, they told my friend to give the following information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
